His latest project Coldstate was co-created with world-class musician and mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum - who worked with nominated for the Grammy Award Lisa Haley, YES, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Sepultura or bluesman Walter Trout - and with invited guests such as Dokaka, who worked on Bjork's Medulla. His Meyatra project CD 'The Singular Sound of the Brain' was produced by the legendary New York producer Kramer (known for his arrangement of the song "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" from the soundtrack to blockbuster Pulp Fiction). Miro composes mainly for film. His compositions can be heard, among others, in American productions: “The Last Taboo” documentary or “Seven Days” directed by Alexander Freeman. Miro's live performance is a unique event, always well received by the audience. His performances can fit any venue, from an intimate exhibition to a large open air concert.

Could You please tell about Your music biography? Is MSL^M Your first band? How did it appear and how did You choose the name? What does it mean (to You)?

Since my childhood I had a contact with music. I attended the music schools and music academy as well. Though my jazz music education, the life was inspiring me to experiment with other music genres which opened new emotional spaces in me. I founded or co-founded many musical projects like Meyatra or Coldstate, with great guys, that led me to the point that Miro Sounds Like a Movie was created. Idea for MSL^M was born during composing music for films.

How can You describe Your musical style and its influences?

I’m really far from classification the genre of my own music because I really feel comfortable composing in many of it.  I’m trying to reflect my emotions and my aesthetics.

Which albums of Yours would You call the best?

Next one :)

What are the main ideas, concepts, messages that You spread through MSL^M?

Most important idea for MSL^M is to create immersive space between me and audience.

What inspires You? Any kinds of philosophy, religion, art, …?

Just going out on the street and I have inspiration for two next albums J

Have You ever been in Lithuania? What do You know about it?

Just passing through… Since ages, history of Polish and Lithuanians has been very intertwined. We have many things in common. So, I’m really excited to visit Lithuania and play for you.

What do You think about experimental music / sound art and its present and future? Which musical acts / bands would You call the best ones?

Experimental music is very important because it helps us to develop both musically and personally – from ambient to noise. It really reflects what one has inside or outside. Nowadays, music has reached the point that only experimenting can make real breakthrough and lead it to the uncharted waters.

What are Your future plans for MSL^M?

Touring in Europe for the next months, releasing debut EP. 2015 will be the year of big festivals and touring in the USA.

Please tell more about Your music, especially film music.

Working on film music is a matter of a particular importance for me.  I recommend every musician to have such experience because working on the picture is huge feeling. One of films that I composed music for which won ‘Best Screenplay’ award at BOSIFEST2013 in Belgrade  is ‘The Last Taboo’, an American documentary directed by Alexander Freeman, that tells about sexuality versus disability. It’s huge voice in disability matter.
