Review. KEYMONO. Time Capsule (Monokey, 2016). Music that makes forget time

The first release of MONOKEY label, and the first longplay CD by KEYMONO is a great news for all fans of cool electronica/brass/neo-soul/funk. KEYMONO is a Lithuanian band now based in London, earlier (2002-2011) well known as BRASSBASTARDZ with two perfect acid jazz albums made back in 2009 and 2011.

Review. KEYMONO. Time Capsule (Monokey, 2016). Music that makes forget time

The new album is just perfect for relaxation, but i feel that to construct this Time Capsule was no easy work to do. Well, broken beats together with soft soul and funk, Daiva's vocals and perfect artwork and design of CD (artwork by Akvilė Magicdust, www.akvilemagicdust.com, design by Mindaugas Bonanu) makes that comfortable feeling when you even don't want to continue writing a review.

Anyway, i must add that even though this music is not exactly always my cup of tea, it's perfect. Nothing to add, nothing to distract. So, Friday i'm in KEYMONO. Be you, too.
